I was reading The Age online edition this morning, and came across two different articles that really caught my attention for different reasons
Article 1 - Christmas fan cuts a CD
'A British man so fond of Christmas that he celebrates it every day of the year will eternalise his experience on a single CD he hopes will shoot to the top of the charts, press reports say.'
....Since becoming Mr Christmas in 1993, Park has eaten 109,500 brussel sprouts.'
I was just in tears of laughter after reading that article.. There are some real fruit-loops in this world :P!
Article 2 - India in the outer
'...Over the course of the next four days, Nadim gave me an education in Indian cricket
and a refresher course in the Aussie version. He explained that he developed a love for Australia when a couple of Aussie travelers visited his local mosque during his childhood and later sent him some gifts. And when it comes to cricket, it is the way that Ricky Ponting, Warney and Co approach the game that makes them his preferred team'
"If you love cricket, you have to support Australia. I admire their attitude. They don't give up and they're the most entertaining as well. I like to see Australia dominate in all sports, not just cricket," he added.
At this point, Ben, the English tourist sitting a couple of seats away, began to cough and splutter, choking on a samosa. "
"This is ridiculous," he laughed, "it's bad enough putting up with Aussies telling us how good they are."
Hahaha.. good on you Nadim, we need all the people we can telling Poms how good Aussies are!
